Chef Ed Recipe – Reese’s Pieces Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft, chewy, peanut buttery, and studded with colorful Reese’s Pieces and gooey chocolate chips—your ultimate cookie fix!

Ingredients: (Makes about 24 cookies)
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies
- Optional: Flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Prep the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. - Cream the Butter and Sugars:
In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and fluffy. - Add Wet Ingredients:
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract. - Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. - Fold in the Fun:
Stir in chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces, reserving a few for topping each cookie. - Scoop and Shape:
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets. Gently press a few extra candies/chips on top for bakery-style looks. - Bake Time:
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are still soft. Don’t overbake—chewy is the goal! - Cool and Serve:
Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Optional: sprinkle with flaky sea salt for contrast.
