Ingredients

For the Beef:
  • 1 lb beef steak (e.g., ribeye, sirloin, or strip)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  For the Pork:
  • 1 lb pork chops or pork ribs
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  For the Chicken:
  • 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  Step 1: Prepare the Marinades
  1. Beef Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Place the beef in a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over it. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Pork Marinade: In another bowl, mix BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Coat the pork with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Chicken Marinade: Combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Massage the marinade into the chicken and refrigerate for 1 hour or more.
  Step 2: Preheat the Grill
  1. Heat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F). Oil the grates lightly to prevent sticking.
Step 3: Grill the Meats
  1. Beef: Remove the steak from the marinade and pat it dry. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for your desired doneness. Let the beef rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  2. Pork: Place the pork chops or ribs on the grill. Cook for about 4-6 minutes per side, basting with extra BBQ sauce during the last few minutes for added flavor.
  3. Chicken: Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Ensure even cooking by flipping the chicken halfway through.
Step 4: Serve Arrange the grilled beef, pork, and chicken on a large platter. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro, and serve with your favorite BBQ sides such as coleslaw, grilled corn, or baked beans.

Tips from Chef Ed’s Carnivore Diet Recipe Plan for Bodybuilders

  • Let the meats come to room temperature before grilling for even cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 135°F for medium-rare beef, 145°F for pork, and 165°F for chicken.
  • Rest the meats after grilling to retain juices and enhance flavor.
